ACTIVITIES HOTEL FUERTE EL ROMPIDO
1. VISIT OF THE NATIONAL PARK OF DOÑANA:
One of the largest National Parks in Spain and one of the most important in Europe. It is home to a wide bio diversity of species, many of them rare and in danger of extintion. It is also a migratory stop for birds on their way from Europe to Africa. 1994 it was declared a World heritage site by UNESCO.
2. SAILING IN THE RIA:
Teamwork and the capacity of leadership are some of the attitudes that we can promote with this activity, and at the same time enjoy this fascinating sport.
3. JEREZ AND THE HORSES:
Panoramic visit of this beautiful city where we will have free time for shopping. In the Recreo de las Cadenas is situated the Real Escuela Andaluza de Arte Ecuestre, founded in 1973 to show the way of riding and andalusian dressure. We will be able to see this marvelous show and will try the wines of one of the most known bodegas of Jerez.
4. ARACENA AND THE MUSEO MINERO:
Aracena offers us the Wonder Cavern that was discovered by a sheperd in 1886 and was opened to public in 1914. It has a length of 1200 m. fully illuminated with 12 rooms and 6 lakes, all of them created by nature.
5. NATIONAL PARK OF DOÑANA, EL ROCÍO Y CASTILLO DE NIEBLA:

The 3 and a half hour visit to the medieval Castle of Guzmanes tour is by jeep. Short stop at el Rocío, then winetasting at Bollullos del Condado. Free lunch and in the afternoon visit of Niebla. Niebla is an old city surrounded by Arabian walls. The Church of Saint Martin and Socorro gate are part of the monuments to visit.We will also visit the medieval castle of Guzmanes.
6. BOATTRIP THROUG THE RIVER GUADIANA + JEEP SAFARI :
Leaving the Hotel we head for Alcoutim, a typical portuguese village. By boat, we will enjoy a cruise following the wonderful riverside landscape of Spain and Portugal on the River Guadiana. Then by Jeep we will enjoy the attraction of beeing close to nature in the wonderful countryside of Huelva. Finally arriving to Sanlúcar de Guadiana, a beautiful frontier village with spectacular views of the river and the valley.
7. ROMERIAS:
One of the most andalusian tradition is the pilgrim to adore the virgin: Virgen del Rocío. In our romerías we are able to recreate the ambience of the fiesta and devotion. We make several “rengues” or stops to drink a glass of wine, enjoy the gastronomy of the area and dance sevillanas. The highest moment is the singing of the Salve rociera.
8. THEMED DINNERS:
An Arabian dinner, situated in the discovery of America, or a hawaian bbq at the beach next to the hotel. Any excuse is valid to enjoy a different dinner.
9. CAPEAS (MOCK BULL FIGHT) AND HORSE SHOW:
This is a land where the bull and the andalusian horses are the protagonists. Some of the most known strains can be visited and you can enjoy a horse show or a "capea" for the most daring.
10. VISIT TO THE JABUGO DRIED MEATS FACTORY:
Jabugo hams are world famous, so this trip is a great chance to get to know more about the whole process: from the birth of the pigs to the curing of the hams.
