FUERTE ROMPIDO

El Rompido is a fishing village located next to the Piedras River, where you still can find a non masive tourism, with high quallity restaurants and a relaxing atmosphere. In this area from Huelva you may find the characteristical tongues of land that get formed in the mouth of the River Piedras.

At the opositte side of the River Piedras you may find the Flecha del Rompido (the arrow of the Rompido), a natural space with non ending wild beaches of white sand and with just few people.

The natural place of the marshes of the River Piedras and the land tongue of El Rompido is very rich in flora and fauna.
There is a path starting next to the hotel to enter this natural area, through the wooden bridge over the 'caño del Tendal', in the area known as San Isidro Prairie (Pradera de San Isidro). There are 5 km of trekking and bike tracks, which can also be used for other outdoor sports.
