Fuerte Hoteles regains the ‘TUI UMWELT CHAMPION’ award at four of their hotels
The Fuerte Hoteles chain has once again received the ‘TUI Umwelt Champion’ award

The Fuerte Hoteles chain has once again received the ‘TUI Umwelt Champion’ award for their hotels Fuerte El Rompido, Fuerte Conil, Fuerte Grazalema and El Fuerte de Marbella.
The chain’s respect for the environment has been the deciding factor in receiving this award, along with the opinions of German clients with the tour operator ‘World of TUI’ regarding these topics.
Fuerte el Rompido has now won the award for the second year running; Fuerte Grazalema and the Marbella establishment, El Fuerte, have won it for the third consecutive year, whilst Fuerte Conil has achieved this prestigious environmental award for the seventh time.
The ‘TUI Umwelt Champion’ awards have mainly evaluated environmental management, together with the excellent service and maintenance of the facilities at the four hotels over the 2006/2007 season. The Fuerte Hoteles chain is amongst the top one hundred out of 12,000 holiday hotels throughout the world, thanks, in part, to the successful application of the international standard ISO 14001, with reference to environmental management systems.
