TUI HOLLY AWARD
The Hotel Fuerte Conil recieves the "TUI HOLLY" award
The award recognises excellent service provided by the staff and outstanding hotel maintenance
Cádiz, 11th of October 2007
The Hotel Fuerte Conil, in the town of Conil de la Frontera, Cadiz, has obtained the ‘TUI Holly’ Award from the German clients of ‘World of TUI’, the number one European tour operator, in recognition of outstanding service and hotel maintenance during the 2006/2007 season.
The TUI Holly is an award given by the tour operator’s clients to the 100 best establishments from the 12,000 holiday hotels entering the awards world-wide. Classification is on the basis of questionnaires completed by all clients, evaluating different aspects of their hotel stays.
This is the seventh time that this four-star Cadiz establishment has obtained the TUI Holly, an award recognising quality as one of the of the Fuerte Hoteles chain’s main objectives. The Andalusian company pays special attention to every process involved in providing services, whilst certifying through internal and external audits that they are more than meeting quality standards.
Beside Conil de la Frontera, and looking directly onto the beach, this sustainable establishment has 250 rooms in which to enjoy an unforgettable holiday in true Andalusian style.
Grupo El Fuerte
Grupo El Fuerte currently has six hotels in Spain in Marbella, Conil, El Rompido and Grazalema, a hotel in the Mayan Riviera, and the Hotel Secrets Montego Bay, Jamaica, is underway. In the property sector, they have the Calaceite Residential Complex in Torrox, whilst the All Suites Hotel Fuerte la Herradura in Almuñecar is due to open in 2010. The Interior Design Studio EID, created to meet the demand from Fuerte Hoteles, also belongs to the Group. Last but not least, the Fuerte Foundation collaborates in tackling social problems encountered within its surroundings.

50th Birthday
In 2007, Grupo El Fuerte is celebrating its 50th Birthday, and to mark the occasion it’s holding weekly cocktail parties in the Group’s hotels. There was an organ concert on the 15th of June in the Iglesia de la Encarnación Church, Marbella, a party on the 4th of July at the Hotel El Fuerte and a painting exhibition ‘Por amor al arte’ (For the Love of Art), in October. The Group has also published a book recounting its history and that of Marbella.
