FUERTE HOTELES BRINGS TOGETHER A PANEL OF EXPERTS IN THEIR QUEST FOR STRATEGIC INNOVATION
Marbella (Málaga), 17.11.2007
On the 17th November 2007, Fuerte Hoteles brought together a panel of experts from different sectors (finance, tourism, social, communication and environmental) with the aim of validating the results of its research and development on new products, within the company’s commitment to innovation in tourism.
Over the past months, this Andalusian company has been working on a strategic innovation project, with the aim of bringing to the market a new tourist product that responds to the demands of a newly emerging tourist profile: more demanding, individual, sensitive to environmental and humane values etc.
In order to continue to compete, the Andalusian tourism sector needs to specialise and reinforce its quality and uniqueness.
Fuerte Hoteles sees the need to search for new market opportunities, develop these ideas for new products and/or amenities and subsequently manage them. In such a competitive market, new upcoming destinations both within and outside the Mediterranean, newer and cheaper modes of transport and new sales systems make it necessary to act.
Fifty years of experience serving our clients and ten years in environmental management have led our company to think about working further in these two fields.
The experts brought together agree that current market and social tendencies, along with the need for quality of information, both on the product and the natural surroundings, concern for health, sensitivity to ethical, social and environmental values, the development of globalisation but also all things local and authentic, and the Internet as a means of rapid access to information, are all brought together in Fuerte Hoteles’ future projects.
Now, the challenge is to make it all happen.
