Marbella holds the latest Classical-fun Family Concert
Fuerte Hoteles is one of the concert’s collaborators

On the 16th February 2008, The Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Marbella held the third Classical-Fun Family Concert. The recital was presented from 18.00 by Fernando Argenta, a guest of Fuerte Hoteles at the Hotel El Fuerte in Marbella.
The conductor on Channel 2’s ‘El Conciertazo’ offered up magisterial music with a varied programme and plenty of surprises for the audience.
Conducted by Ara Vartanyan and made up of 55 musicians, the Symphonic Orchestra from the Experimental Centre of Musical Studies in Malaga (CEEM) performed classical numbers such as ‘Concerto in B minor for violins and orchestra’ and ‘Spanish Symphony for violin and Orchestra’ as well as more current, popular pieces such as ‘Paquito el Chocolatero’ and ‘Marcha Superman’.
One of the most exciting aspects of the concert was the audience participation, which created a wonderful atmosphere for children and adults in which to get to discover classical music in a fun and entertaining way. Another surprise was that two music students who won the draw at the last ‘Sábados Musicales’ concert will have the privilege of leading the Orchestra.
