Mus tournament
Registration for the XV Proyecto Hombre Mus Tournament now open
To be held on 14th and 15th March at the Club de Mar in Puerto Banús
Marbella (Málaga), 26th febrebuary 2008
On the 14th and 5th March, the Asociación Horizonte Proyecto Hombre in Marbella is to hold the fourth Mus Tournament at the Club de Mar in Puerto Banús. All pairs wishing to take part can register right up to the day the championship begins at 14:00, at a cost of 50 Euros per person.
On Friday, the first day of the tournament, independent groups of 4 pairs will be chosen by a draw, to play three games of 40, with 8 kings. The two first classifying pairs will play the final the following day, with the following positions decided on the results of the other participants.
Prizes
Many businesses take part in the tournament, donating prizes (trips, meals at the best restaurants in Marbella, etc.).
Fuerte Hoteles is one of the companies collaborating in this charity championship to raise money for the fight against drug addiction. On this occasion, the hotel chain will reward some of the participants with a two-night stay and breakfast at the Hotel Fuerte El Rompido (Huelva).
Proyecto Hombre
Presided over by Isabel María García Bardón for twenty years, the Proyecto Hombre Association has carried out its work since 1985 in supporting and rehabilitating drug-addicts, tailoring its intervention methods to changes in substances, the profile of consumers and methods of consumption.
