Friends of the Sol Mayor organ Association
The Friends of the Sol Mayor Organ Association studies the historical, technical and artistic values of the Sol Mayor Organ, and collaborates in its restoration, conservation and improvement. It also promotes musical culture in schools, with the aim of generating children’s interest in the instrument.
For their part, in 2006 the Fuerte Foundation, presided over by Isabel García Bardón, took charge of the restoration of the organ at the La Encarnación Church and gave the organ maker Albert Blancafort the task of recuperating its sound, diminished by the passage of time.
