Volley Tournament
Staff vs. Clients at Fuerte Hotels

Sporting prowess and team spirit were tested at the beach-volleyball tournament.
Thursday 21st August saw the first beach-volleyball tournament held between clients of Hoteles Fuerte Conil and Fuerte Costa Luz and staff. The tournament began at six in the evening on the beach-volleyball court for the two hotels and was extremely popular.
Around 30 clients signed up and many more went to see the matches and cheer on the teams. There was plenty of interest from the staff too, although their team was smaller than that of the clients, as some of those wishing to play had to work. This meant that the staff teams had members from maintenance, bars, kitchen, reception, customer service and entertainment.
The entertainment team also provided a referee and livened things up with music. The event lasted around two hours, with a total of 13 matches, apart from the semi-finals and final. Unfortunately for the staff, their teams were knocked out in the semi-final, so the final was between two client teams.
The tournament was made possible thanks to the great collaboration between customer service and entertainment, and strengthened team spirit whilst offering clients a new experience.
Above all, it was great for bringing clients and staff closer together.
