Layed the first stone at Jamaican Resort

The project has received an investment of 180 million dollars
Fuerte Hoteles continues to build two hotels in Montego Bay (Jamaica). The construction of the complex began six months ago and in December the first stone was laid at the resorts, which will be named 'Secrets St. James and Secrets Wild Orchid'.
A group of international investors are involved in the project, while Fuerte Hoteles is the main investor and in charge of project management. The total investment reaches 180 million dollars and the resort will have 700 rooms and a beach club. There are currently 350 Jamaicans building the complex and once completed, it will provide employment for one thousand people.
The ceremony enjoyed the attendance of the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Bruce Holding; the Minister for Tourism, Edmund Bartlett and the President of Fuerte Hoteles, Isabel MĒ García Bardón, along with government civil servants and members of the Jamaican business community. The president of Fuerte Hoteles took the opportunity during her speech to thank the contractors, workers, professionals and civil servants who work for Seawind Key Investments Limited, the complex's developer, to meet the exacting demands of investors in an extremely competitive world. The company, created in 2005 to develop property projects in Jamaica, has some18 professionals and collaborates with 500 members of the construction sector. The Minister for Tourism showed his support for the investment by stating that he will contribute to developing the area.
The two hotels, which will be used by the Americana company AM Resorts, will boast suites with Jacuzzis, private terraces, an international a la carte gourmet restaurant, spa, gymnasium, 24 hour room service and a number of swimming pools: a complex where luxury and even the smallest of details will be taken care of.
Fuerte Hoteles is a leading Andalusian company in the hotel sector that has been commended for its excellence in management, quality tourism, concern for the environment and human resources training. It currently boasts 6 hotels in Andalusia (Marbella, Conil, Grazalema and El Rompido).
