Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia Ortiz of Asturias opened the twenty-ninth International Tourism Fair (Fitur) this morning, and visited the Stand belonging to Fuerte Hoteles as part of their tour.

Accompanied by the Minister for Development, Magdalena álvarez, the Minister for Industry, Miguel Sebastián, the Secretary of State for Tourism, Joan Mesquida, the President of Ifema (the Madrid Fair Institution), Luis Eduardo Cortés, among others, Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia were welcomed at the stand by José Luque, the managing director of Fuerte Hoteles. They expressed an interest in the concept of responsibility in the hotel business, which has been developed by the group as a way of managing their hotels.
First time with their own stand
Fuerte Hoteles is present at the International Tourism Fair, Fitur 2009, to promote their new ways of running a hotel operation and management business. This is the first time that the Andalusian hotel chain has had their own stand at the International Tourism Fair in Madrid, to be held between the 21st of January and the 1st of February.
The stand belonging to the Andalusian chain measures 106 square metres and is located in hall 14 of the IFEMA. It was designed by the company EID, part of the El Fuerte Group, and the Catalonian company JB Arquitectura Ferial took charge of its construction.
Both the stand and the newly released corporate image, which was developed in collaboration with A&N publicity, feature the main attributes that have become part of the chain's identity: caring for people, the vocation of excellence in the hotel business, keeping the facilities in good shape, exceptional positioning in terms of destination and location, innovation in every area and Corporate Social Responsibility applied to the tourism sector.
