The president of the el Fuerte Group has been awarded the Clara Campoamor prize

The president of the el Fuerte Group, Isabel Maria Garcia Bardón received the Clara Campoamor prize on the 9th of March from Manuel Chaves, president of the Andalusia Council and Secretary General of the Andalusian Spanish Socialist Worker's Party (PSOE-A). The prize is awarded to outstanding women from the province of Malaga.
This is the 15th time this prize has been awarded by the Andalusian PSOE in commemoration of International Woman's Day. It is aimed at acknowledging outstanding work carried out by people and institutions in favour of equality and rights for women. In previous years, the Clara Campoamor prize has been awarded to personalities like Felipe González, Maria Teresa Campos, Iñanki Gabilondo, Maria Teresa Fernandez de la Vega and the folk singer Estrella Morente, among others.
García Bardón has been at the helm of the el Fuerte Group since 1984, the year when she lost her husband, José Luque Manzano. In addition, she has been president of the Horizonte Association for more than 20 years, she is a committee member at the Andalusian Family Business Association and she also dedicates a lot of her time to the Fuerte Foundation, carrying out activities to encourage the development of the socio-cultural environment.
Previously, the president of the el Fuerte Group has also been awarded the Andalusia Council's Gold Medal for Occupational Merit, which acknowledges the merits and careers of outstanding professional workers and entities in relation to employee relations in Andalusia. She has also recently been awarded the II Victoria Prize, given by the Málaga Association of Women Professionals and Entrepreneurs (Amupena) in recognition of women who stand out due to their social, economic or intellectual work on an international level.
