Fuerte Hoteles to open a new complex of holiday apartments in Torrox-Costa

Starting from the 1st of April, the Andalusian chain Fuerte Hoteles will begin to manage 30 holiday apartments on the eastern Malaga coastline. The village of Torrox, built on the banks of its namesake river, is a very attractive location in terms of countryside and culture and Nerja is a seafaring village, whose close ties to the sea came about as a result of its location and traditional economic activities. The new Fuerte Calaceite Apartments are located between these two villages, in one of the most peaceful and charming areas of the eastern Malaga coastline.

The complex affords some spectacular sea views and guests can enjoy the magnificent, large, illuminated gardens with different native plant species, along with fully equipped, spacious swimming pools for adults and children and plenty of green areas with hammocks for sunbathing.

Light and clarity are predominant harmonising features in the interior design of the apartments. A smooth mixture of colours provides a contrast to cream-coloured marble floors in the bedrooms and living rooms, creating a pleasing environment. This is all bathed in the sunlight that enters through the sliding doors that are fitted to the enormous picture windows in each room.

The apartments all have fully equipped fitted kitchens, plasma screen TVs with DTTV and satellite television, a private parking space in the garage and a 24 hour lift and security service.

In addition, the complex is also very well connected. It is just a stone's throw away from the city of Malaga, a few miles from the airport. Guests at the apartments can also enjoy extremely entertaining tours of the area, like the excursion to the famous Nerja Caves, or a tour to the historical city of Granada.

For sporting enthusiasts, the Fuerte Calaceite Apartments are perfectly located for enjoying two very different types of sport: golf, as the surrounding area plays host to a wide variety of golf clubs and the Sierra Nevada, one of the best ski resorts in our country, is just 90 minutes away.

As if this were not enough, guests at Fuerte Calaceite can enjoy a climate that is thought of as the best in Europe: The average annual temperature in Torrox is 18.2º, which means that there is minimal variation in temperature between summer and winter. This, together with low rainfall, makes this place a very luminous enclave that enjoys more than 2980 hours of sun per year.
