Colombian hoteliers visit Fuerte Hoteles

Marbella (Malaga), 21st April 2009.

Fuerte Hoteles played host last weekend to a group of Colombian hotel managers who were interested in learning about the business strategies that have been developed by the experienced Andalusian group on the south Coast of Spain.

Joaquín Pineda, Quality and Sustainable Development manager for Fuerte Hoteles, was in charge of the presentation which focussed on the management of the Andalusian chain's establishments, particularly regarding matters related to their business strategy, such as commercialisation, positioning, differentiation and corporate social responsibility. The Colombian managers were also given the opportunity to take a guided tour around the facilities of the Fuerte Marbella hotel.

The meeting took place as part of the Hotel Upper Management Program, organised by the Andalusian Centre for Integral Training in the Leisure Industry (CIOMIJAS by its Spanish acronym), which is aimed at high level hotel executives. For the second year running, CIOMIJAS is using Fuerte Hotelesas a prime example of the Andalusian tourism sector and as a great source of knowledge about hotel management and business strategies.
