The last employee of the first group of Hotel el Fuerte staff, Pedro Guerrero Gil, has just retired after having worked 48 years and a half at the first establishment of the Fuerte Hoteles chain.

Maître at Hotel el Fuerte, Pedro Guerrero started as a bellboy at the hotel the day it opened on July 15th 1957, and since then he has been working on different responsibility posts at the flagship of the Andalusian hotel chain, he even got the nickname of the hotel “first commercial” since at the beginning he had to go out in the streets to get customers.

The almost half century that Pedro Guerrero Gil has devoted to El Fuerte is more than a proof that the personnel of the hotel chain is like a family which cares about equality and communication in order to boast team work to satisfy customers and offer a personalised treatment year after year.
