It is an initiative born with the undertaking of boosting the innovation of Andalusian companies. It was promoted back in 2004 by a group of Andalusian civil engineers, supported by DOPP Consultores.  Its target is to help the participating Andalusian companies to become more competitive by means of promotion and the systematization of innovation by joining together innovative entrepreneurial experiences.

Each one of the companies belonging to the  Plataforma 2i  Community works on its own innovative experience, identifying, analyzing, describing and presenting it in a joint meeting (known as monthly “Meeting”) with the rest of the participants.  Such experience is presented by the company’s Directors (Chairman, Director or General Manager) based on the Specific Report on Innovative Experience  –Document 2ie- which is previously drawn up and handed over to the rest of the companies of the Community at each Meeting.

Plataforma 2i counts on with SOCINTEC as a technological ally, a consulting company within the Azertia group with great prestige and experience in the improvement of the entrepreneurial competitiveness through the implementation of models and innovation management techniques.

The management of Fuerte Hoteles reckons that an interesting apprentenship shall arise from this experience and the same shall be applied to its organisation. It is the only tourism trade company participating in this project and shall present its innovative project at the last meeting to be held on May 25th 2006 at Hotel Fuerte El Rompido.
