The Department of Innovation, Science and Business contributes an amount of 77,000.00 € for the updating of the Fuerte Hoteles electronic commerce service.
The Department of Innovation, Science and Business of the Andalusian Government has passed a financial incentive of 76,816.00 € for an updating project submitted by the company Fuerte Hoteles S.L., based on the incorporation of information and communication technologies as well as other advanced services to allow the on-line sale of their own services and other suppliers’ products aimed to direct customers and to the hotelkeeping trade middlemen.
As a new thing, the project, whose global investment amounts to 185,000.00 €, introduces the possibility of undertaking loyalty programmes, and checking the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Furthermore this will enable them to keep commercial relationships in real time with the aim of providing an immediate confirmation of the reservation.
Bearing in mind the above Fuerte Hoteles is planning to create a web with browser allowing them to itemize the product wished by the customer. Final customers as well as travel agencies middlemen (agencies and tour operators) will have access to such a web. This new service includes the possibility of purchasing services or products from external suppliers through the Fuerte Hoteles web.
The financial incentive granted by the Innovation Department, which covers 41% of the total investment, will allow the Andalusian hotel chain to purchase the necessary hardware systems, to finance the consulting service needed to technically define the project, to develop tailor-made programmes and the configuration of services to third parties for access to the web.
The hotel chain Fuerte Hoteles has six establishments in Andalusia (Marbella, Conil de la Frontera, Grazalema and El Rompido), a hotel on the Mayan Riviera and a residential complex in Torrox-Costa (Málaga).
