The Spanish hotel chain has renovated for three more years the certificate in Quality Management ISO 9001:2000 for all its hotels in Spain
The Andalusian hotel chain Fuerte Hoteles has just received the renovation for three more years of the certificate in Quality Management ISO 9001:2000 for all its hotels within Spain, from AENOR (Spanish International Organization for Standardization).
Likewise Fuerte Hoteles has been awarded the certificate ISO 14001:2004 as a proof of its good Environmental Management for the hotels located in the province of Cádiz, i.e. Fuerte Conil, Fuerte Costa de la Luz, Fuerte Grazalema and for the Huelva hotel Fuerte el Rompido. This certificates guaranties that all hotel activities achieve a high environmental protection within the frame of sustainable development.
The ISO 14001:2004 certificate has been granted due to the special commitment of the Fuerte Hoteles chain towards the environment and sustainable development, and thanks to this last year the hotel chain was granted, among other awards, the Doñana award to the Sustainable Company 2005.
The hotel chain Fuerte Hoteles is also involved with the Cotec Foundation, whose aim is to contribute to the development by means of boosting innovation, in drawing up a Research on the State of Innovation in the Tourist Field, a document whose first draft shall be issued shortly.
