Fuerte Hoteles receives the ‘Turismo de Andalucía 2006 Award’. |

The Marbella based hotel chain is awarded for ‘Excellence in Management’ as ‘Andalusian management leader’. Marbella, 25th July 2006 The hotel chain Fuerte Hoteles, based in Marbella, was awarded yesterday one of the ‘Turismo de Andalucía 2006 Awards’, i.e. the ‘Excellence in Management award’ as ‘Andalusian management leader’, as explained by Paulino Plata, Head of the Andalusian Department for Tourism, Commerce and Sports.
These awards, in their second edition now, were presented yesterday during a press conference at the Parador de Turismo de Gibralfaro in Málaga.

The jury assessed Fuerte Hoteles constant concern for tourism quality, preservation of the environment and training in human resources.

The awards shall be given on September 26th at a gala in Seville, on the evening before the celebration of the World Tourism Day, and shall consist of a sculpture made by an Andalusian artist and a diploma as prove of such award. This award involves the possibility for the persons or companies being awarded to use the ‘Andalucia de Turismo Award’ and the year the same was awarded, at their companies.

Juan Robles, owner of Casa Robles, in Seville, received the ‘Businessman or company award’. The Seville festival ‘Bienal de Flamenco’ and the ‘Instituto Superior Hurtado de Mendoza’ of Granada, were also awarded. | | |
