Because of our strong commitment to sustainable growth, we wanted to support this initiative with the intention of contributing to the repopulation of areas of high ecological value, such as the devastated zones by the fires that have burned huge tracts of the mountains in the Costa Del Sol, affecting parts of ecological value in Coín, Mijas, Marbella, Ojén, Alhaurín el Grande y Monda.

Therefore, we have decided to launch the campaign “One guest, one tree”.

To do this, we plant one tree for every customer staying in our Marbella hotels (Fuerte Marbella and Fuerte Miramar). With this initiative, we hope to achieve the reforestation of 400 hectares and more than 20,000 native tree species such as oak, pine and junipers.

In addition, Fuerte Hoteles invites other companies to participate to this action and to do their bit with all of us to attempt to diminish the effects of the most serious fires that have happened in the province of Málaga in the last twenty years.

Also the guests will have the opportunity to make a direct donation in the reception of the hotels to buy their own tree and give it to the cause. Between all of us we can make it better, Join the cause!
