"El Ingenio" Cultural Centre

Housed in the historic Ingenio de azúcar sugar refinery built in 1871 by the Marqués del Duero, it was restored in 1992 by D. Jesús Gil y Gil. It operates as a multi-use arts centre hosting a wide variety of events and exhibitions.

Fundación Museo del Grabado Español Contemporáneo (Contemporary Spanish Prints Museum)

Inaugurated in November 1992 with a collection of over 2,000 print artworks, generously donated by Dr. José Luis Morales y Marín. Displayed on its three floors of galleries, in a renovated Renaissance-era hospital, are print works by Picasso, Miró, Tapies, Barceló, Chillida, Saura, Caruncho, and others.

Jardines de El Ángel

The gardens of "El Ángel" are situated in the countryside by the Río Verde river between Marbella and San Pedro de Alcántara. The botanical riches of the gardens, already famous for its exhibit of three of the largest ficus trees in the entire Málaga province, has developed considerably as the gardens mature.

Museo Cortijo Miraflores

Built as a grand country house (cortijo) in 1706 by D. Tomás Francisco Domínguez Godoy, it was expanded to house a sugar mill. In 1991 it became the property of the municipality of Marbella.

Museo del Bonsai

Inaugurated in 1992 thanks to the generous donation of D. Miguel Ángel García, this houses a magnificent collection of mature and younger bonsai trees, considered to be one of the finest in Europe. It also contains one of the major displays of olive trees in the world.

Museo Ralli

The Ralli museums are a private international foundation with museums in Uruguay, Chile, Israel, Spain and the USA promoting contemporary European and Hispano-American artists. The new museum in Marbella houses works by Dalí, Miró, Chagall, Henry Moore and Wlfredo Lam, among others.
