MARBELLA. Where to eat?. restaurants

The gastronomy of Marbella can accommodate just about any appetite and pocket. From the small local bars and cafes where you can feast on tapas to the grand restaurants and, a Marbella speciality, seafood restaurants, as well as haute cuisine, pizzerias and burger bars, cuisine from around the globe and even the latest Marbella innovation, la nueva cocina Andaluz, Andalucían nouvelle cuisine, now appearing in many of Marbella’s finest restaurants (and slightly more substantial than its French equivalent...).

We have divided this section into various areas for you to find exactly the sort of restaurant you want: classic ‘cocina mediterránea’, with dishes from all around this inland sea, the most varied international cuisine ever found in one place, more traditional Andalucía specialities, such as the fabled pescaito frito, mixed fried fish, perhaps the signature dish of Marbella. Or if you want to ‘tapear’, the verb for snacking on tapas in a variety of bars, or if you’re looking for a plate of our finest seafood. For those with a sweet tooth, there are also pastelerías, bakery and sweet shops, producing exquisite cakes, desserts and traditional confectionery on almost every street.
