The village sits at 476 feet above sea level and it is protected by the Sierra de Tejada y Almijara. This privileged location means that it has a fabulous climate, with an annual temperature variation of only 19°C - widely recognised as being the "best climate in Europe". Pleasant temperatures can be enjoyed all year round, meaning that inhabitants can fully enjoy the charms of Torrox.
