Castaño del Robledo is a
little village founded in the 16th Century. Its name comes
from the chestnut tree, the most common tree in the area,
source of resources and emblem of the Natural Park,
and on the other hand from the former wood: an oak tree
wood. We shall see old chestnut woods at the end of the
village, beautiful views and after some hard steeps, the
ravine of Casares. During the rainfall season it
is worth asking how to go to the spectacular water cascade
nearby called los Chorros de Ollarancos.
Length: 4 km.
