The path between these two villages boasts
beautiful landscapes since it is a hoof-trodden way going
through centennial meadows covered with holm oak trees.
Cumbres Mayores is famous for its hams and pork meats
and the emigration of its inhabitants to America. Cumbres
de En Medio has a population of 50 inhabitants and it
is the smallest village in Andalusia. Its origin
is said to have been a meeting point for muleteers.
