As high season comes around, Fuerte Grazalema becomes the most enjoyable place to be with animation from the Sierra de Grazalema, including a range of entertainment options for children and adults.
One of the options that is a real hit with the little ones is visiting the farmyard at the hotel, which is home to various species, such as a pot-bellied pig, a donkey, pigeons, fantail pigeons, Andalusian and Castilian black hens and Japanese bantams, turkeys, ducks, chicks, tortoises, a sheep, a lamb, quails, rabbits, partridges and Spanish water dogs. As part of this activity, both children and their parents get the opportunity to interact with the animals.
Furthermore, guests can visit an organic vegetable garden and learn, under the guidance of an animator, how a farmer tends to this small corner of the hotel that, depending on the time of year, is home to broad beans, onions, cauliflowers, cabbages, carrots, radishes, artichokes, lettuces, thyme and, in summer, tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes and red and green peppers, in addition to other vegetables.
In low season, reception staff are happy to suggest trails and activities in the surrounding area that are suited to your preferences and your type of holiday.
Consult availability and times at the hotel’s reception.
