This new entertainment and activities programme stands out for its desire to transmit a sincere love of life, the magic of the South and the secrets that make this land a very special place.

The Fuerte Live programme will have 4 types of activities, whose respective themes will be adapted to the age-specific interests of the hotel’s different guests: Fuerte Live Play (for children aged 4 to 12 who can’t get enough of playing); Fuerte Live Share (for teenagers aged 13 to 17 who like to stay connected); Fuerte Live Move (for adults who never stop) and Fuerte Live Smile (for guests who are always smiling at life).

Physical and sports activities programme for adults. Beyond motivating guests to enjoy sport, it promotes change and exercise to develop a healthier and more natural/active life.

Feel the relaxing caress of the sun and experience new sensations with our folk music, festivals and celebrations, and above all fine cuisine. A journey through the Mediterranean among flavours and traditions.

The environment of El Rompido is the perfect setting for different activities during your stay, either for adults or specifically for children. Take one of the incredible hiking trails around the hotel, taste local delicacies in our workshops or go out on your bike to bask in the beauty of the area.

Forti Club

The Forti Club opens the doors to a world of fun, sports and culture for your children. Developed by professionals in the field, this is a full programme of activities and recreation in El Rompido for children from 4 to 12 years old, so that our youngest guests can make the most of their free time, make new friends and learn new things.

During the months of February, March and November our Forti Club will open from Tuesday to Thursday and will be free to enter, without monitors to look after children.

Check availability with the hotel reception. Depends on season.

  • Sangria workshop (high season)

    This activity will show guests how to make this typical Spanish drink.

  • Gazpacho workshop (high season)

    This activity will show guests how to make a dish that is typical of Andalusian cuisine, gazpacho.

  • Boating knots (mid and high season)

    Workshop that will teach guests how to make three different types of knot.

  • Cycling

    Fuerte El Rompido has a cycling centre with all facilities so that you can enjoy the surroundings of the Costa de la Luz. More info.

  • Hiking Trails

    There are various different trails right on the hotel’s doorstep that are perfect for keen hikers. The routes start at the hotel itself.

  • Running Trails

    Do you like to run? Below you can discover a number of the routes on offer to enjoy your favourite sport whilst taking in wonderful views. The routes start at the hotel itself.

  • Venencia (wine sampling) (high season)

    A basic demonstration of the art of wine pouring is carried out and the client is invited to pour a fino de Huelva using the venencia (a long-handled dipper).

  • Our liquid gold (high season)

    You will be able to taste different types of olive oils coming from El Fuerte Group’s olive tree plantations, which are so typical in the Mediterranean cuisine.

  • Sunset (mid and high season)

    In this activity our guest is invited to enjoy a sunset from a key point in the hotel where you can enjoy superb views.

  • Botanic tour (mid and low season)

    Visit the surroundings of the hotel building to discover the different types of exotic and indigenous plants as well as their most important qualities.

  • Spanish lessons (low season)

    Our guests will be able to learn the most common phrases and words to be able to manage to speak some Spanish during their holidays. We do different role-play situations like buying in a shop, going to a restaurant or taking a bus.
